Successful completion of Service Innovation Project "Boosting Service Sales"

We would like to thank all those who participated in this Service Innovation Project. Your active participation through input and questions turned the two-day Breakthrough Session into a valuable experience for all. A special thanks to our guest speakers, who all added much value to the Project through their interesting presentations and expertise.

Some highlights of the 2-day Breakthrough Session were: 

  • The presentation of Kai-Markus Müller, Managing Director of Neurensics Germany and CEO of The Neuromarketing Labs, who explained how you can find out what customer service needs are and how you can improve sales effectiveness by understanding customers' buying behaviour. He presented the latest neuroscience research findings about how your customers’ brains perceive value and make purchasing decisions and went on to point out some new insights and tools from neuroscience that can help you boost your service sales revenue.
  • The presentation of Andreas E. Wagner, Senior Director IT Solution Sales of Huawei Technologies. He talked about the importance of putting people first and letting them guide the change in your organisation. He also pointed out how important it is to set a clear target, which you will then aim for while supporting your people, as that can help you achieve your aspiration.
  • Both the presentation and break-out session facilitated by Thomas Kaufmann, Produktmanager Life Cycle Management of Endress+Hauser Messtechnik. He presented a case study on how Endress+Hauser set up a dedicated service sales team while overcoming the different challenges it had to face. How they managed to make service sales part of the overall strategy in order to gain acceptance and built a completely new team to bring the strategy to life.
